Happy New Year, friends! I hope the New Year is going well for you! After taking a break, I’m starting to get back into the swing of things again! Part of why I enjoy blogging, and content creation so much is because I am able to be home with my kids and enjoy the holidays and school breaks with them! We had a fun time off together, and I’m feeling refreshed and ready to hit the ground running!
Today, I’m bringing my favorite winter outfits that I’ve been wearing during these colder months! Links to shop each outfit will be under each photo!
For reference, I’m 5’3, a size 6/medium in bottoms, and a small/medium in tops.
Winter Puffer Vests
I have to admit, that I’ve never been a big fan of puffer vests until this year! I’ve found a few that caught my eye, and I’m so glad I gave them a try! These are great for a mild winter day, and they are so easy to layer with sweaters and versatile enough to wear with jeans or leggings.
These first two puffer vests surprised me the most! These ended up being such a big part of my winter wardrobe this year! I was unsure at first how I would like the longer length since I’m a little short, to begin with, but I really liked how they looked! From sporty to classic chic, these two are winners in my book!
I just want to give a quick shout-out to these fleece-lined jeans! A true MVP for the winter months as these will keep you toasty during a cold and snowy day! These fit a bit small due to the thicker, super soft, lining on the inside! I recommend sizing up if you are in between sizes!
Turtleneck Winter Sweaters
Obviously, sweaters go hand in hand with the winter season, but these are a few of my favorites that I’ve been wearing the most for the last couple of months! I have never been a big fan of turtleneck sweaters, but these ones ended up being some of my favorite Amazon finds!
This maroon turtleneck sweater is a great longer-length top that goes well with leggings! I’m wearing a small, and it gives just the right of an oversized fit without feeling like I’m being swallowed in it.
Another MVP is these distressed jeans! These jeans have been a wardrobe staple for me this season! The distressing is perfectly placed and minimal enough to dress up or down.
A classic cable knit turtleneck sweater is a great wardrobe staple to have during the winter! This sweater is a great option! I’m wearing my normal size medium, but for more of an oversized look, I suggest sizing up one!

Outerwear
Colorado winters can range from negative temperatures to 60 degrees depending on mother nature. I’ve found that having a variety of outerwear options is a must! From lightweight, to oversized puffers, these are what I’ve been wearing the most during these colder months!
Denim jackets have always been a staple in my wardrobe! This is a newer jacket that I’ve recently gotten from Amazon and it quickly became my new favorite! I love the distressing throughout, the fringe around the hem, and the shorter cropped length. I’m wearing a medium and it does run a bit small in my opinion! I suggest sizing up one size if you are in between sizes!
A good quality lightweight jacket will take you from one season to the next effortlessly! This neutral rain trench works well for layering up on a colder day, as well as an easy lightweight option for a rainy spring day!
Having a high-quality peacoat is a great way to elevate any outfit! This coat from Amazon has been my go-to coat for picking up the kids, running errands, weekend sports games, date nights with my hubby, holiday parties, etc! It goes well with just about anything you pair it up with! I’m wearing a small in this one!
I began hitting the gym again last month, which feels great to be doing again! Although, now that it’s winter, a good quality coat to wear over my gym clothes was essential! I love this oversized puffer coat! I’m wearing a small, and it fits very large! Although, the oversized look, plus the neutral color, is why I was so drawn to it! The cold air doesn’t stand a chance of getting through this coat! If you aren’t a fan of this light color, there are plenty of color options to choose from!
Cozy Loungewear
Working from home has its perks, and wearing cute matching loungewear all day is definitely one of them! These are a couple of my favorite sets that I’ve been wearing the most!
I ordered several lounge sets this past fall, and these two are my top favorites out of the haul! Both sets are super soft and extremely comfortable to lounge around in on a lazy weekend, or as a cute outfit to wear during the week when I am working from home. I’m wearing a medium in both, and both fit true to size!
